My favorite activity that we did this year? Was the one we did with Lord Of The Flies. Where we have to make a island and we have to put certain things on it. My least favorite project? My least favorite project was Fahrenheit 451 ABC PowerPoint. Why? Because it was really boring and time consuming trying to figure our words for each letter. The activity I learned most from was the I learned most from the ABC project because they were some words that I had never seen before and it helped me understand them better. Something I learned and didn’t expect to learn was about Julius Caesar and his story, Why? because It doesn’t seem eye dropping its really boring and simple and the words they used back then where so weird. Something I wanted to learn but didn’t get to was, history about about Vietnam and the veterans. Studying hard and the worksheets you gave us was what prepared me for tax. What best prepared me for English next year I think everything prepared me I cant think of one thing that didn’t. Everything that you taught us this year basically get put together somehow because it relates to one another. My favorite book that we read this year was Ender’s Game. Its a really cool story about a kid that is expected to be the best commander. They train him and stuff but the kid gets depressed a lot he doesn’t want to become his brother (a killer) He is also expected to defeat the bugger colony but on his way to become the best he faces challenges. I think its acceptable that he got away with murder because if they need a commander for their army they cannot hold him back or he will lose time he needs for his training. He shouldn’t be punished because like I said before it would delay him from being the best commander. If he gets in another fight they should stop it and tell him that the previous opponents were killed by his bare hands. I’m not sure if this is true but I think O.J Simpson got away with it. Supposedly he killed his wife but they didn’t find enough evidence to charge him with it. It was very wrong but it doesn’t matter anymore he is currently in jail for other reason but it would be cool if they gave him more years for what he supposedly did. (139)

The children at battle school are treated bad by the adults. The adults push them to far they expect them to finish all the hard work and train for the battles. They do this everyday 24/7 with little rest Im guessing. I dont think its fair how they are treated. They should at least give them a day to rest I bet most of the students are stressed out. I do think they are treated abusive but not in a physical matter more of a mental. I dont think Graff should be reported because they want good soldiers they need to train them hard. (100)

Blog #1 – 5th 6-weeks

The last six weeks I learned about the book Fahrenheit 451 Its a book that we are still currently reading. So far its about how the government is trying to prevent censorship from books so they burn them. Its interesting because one of the main character is working to burn books then he meets a girl and changes his way of thinking. He then get the urge to start reading them and soon finds out why the government burning the books.What my favorite activity was last six week was when we did the flashcards online and took the test that was pretty cool. My least favorite activity last six week was when we did all of those practice tests to get ready for taks. This six weeks I hope to countinue my good grades and so that I can pass this year with a great grade. (144)

Have I ever been jealous of a friend? No I have not there is no reason to be jealous. Has a friend ever been jealous of you? Yes they have told me that they would like to be tall like me. What did I do ? I told them to drink milk because its promotes growth and makes ur bones stronger.What did my friends do? They kept drinking milk and they got a bit taller. Did your friendship survive the jealousy? Yes it did this jealousy was a small one it wasnt a big deal so our friendship survived. (98)

If I had to pick a protagonist for this story is would be Caesar. Because he is the one everyone is talking about. They plan to kill him and stuff they make him seem like the main charecter because all they talk about is him. The antagonist for this play would be Brutus hes the one that is leading the conspiracy. Hes also the one people want to kill. No the title is wrong it should be named Julius Cesar. Becasue it looks better.

It was when i had to decide whether to go to either of my friends party. SO i didnt go to either one.
I think Brutus made a stupid decision he should have kept Caesar alive because no one knew if he was going to be a bad king so they should have waited a little longer and see if he was good or bad.(73)

The loyalty of my friends are veryimportant to me because you dont want to be friends with someone that will let you down or backstab you. The reason is your friends might be able to help you out when you are in need and to return the favor they may need help too so yeah. A good example is when one of my friends stood by me when I got hurt. He helped me carry my things help me with my homework last but not least kept me company. A good example of a friend that let me down is when I told them that I coudnt go with them to sixflags so I told them to wait till next week but they ignored me and still went.
I am loyal to my friends most of the time I rarely turn my back on them and if i ever do. I try to think of something that can make them cheer up or be happy. So I think I am am a good friend nobody is always going to be there with you there is going to be times that your friends arent going to be with you thats why loyalty is important. (202)

A tyrant is someone that takes power by himself.He dosent ask for it just take control over it.A modern tyrant I think was Adolf Hitler because he just went to country and took control over them didnt ask or anything .
People feared him because he was a very dangerous person so they didnt get in the way.The difference between a tyrant and a monarch are totally different. Like I said a tyrant take over land without asking. A monarch on the other hand gets it from hereditary right that means they were born with the right to take control over a nation. I dont think tyrants make good leaders because they can do whatever they want whenever they want so is wouldnt be fair to the people. Also because they end up getting killed by someone so yeah dosent make any sense at all.I dont think america should have a tyrant. I think america is good with a system to elect a president. Also because if we had a tyrant in america it would ruin everything the streets would be filled with violence and the saying , the land of the free and home of the brave will not make any sense at all. 202 words

Now that we know that we are going to get rescued I am feeling a lot of things. I kinda feel sad and happy at the same time. Because it where I spent quite sometime with nature. Also I survived in the Island and experienced a lot of things. My favorite part about being stranded is the hunting part I liked killing the different kinds of animal the island had to offer. The worst part of being in the island is not being able to contact to the outside world or taking showers. I like to be clean. The difference between lord of the flies and us it that they had a lot of people to work with we only had 4 you cant really get much done with 4 people. I think they had better opportunities because they had more people and had ell types of people. If I was stranded with them I would have voted to make someone leader not just making yourself leader I think that made a bid deal over everything I also think that is what caused jack to get all mad they were all disorganized which made the whole island look crazy. I would have been better with me yeah the end.
